It's nearing time for our 20 year reunion. Let's start getting ready to meet again and share our experiences over the last 20 years.

June 2023

Update on Saturday, plan to meet at noon as before. The weather looks significantly better than it did before. As such, the prior plans remain in place for Saturday at noon and early afternoon at Tommy Turtle Park. I will be bringing food, water, and games, as before. Feel free to join, as stated before. If it is raining or starts raining, we do have the large shelter.

If it is storming, starting storming around noon, or storming early afternoon, I will recommend we cancel, for safety. I will try to post here if that ends up being the case.

Latest details on the upcoming 20 year reunion this month.

Friday June 23, we will have a Social Hour at Marie's starting at 6pm, with dinner there following at 7pm. At the moment, we have a section of tables reserved and should have access to their full menu.

This is likely to be cancelled due to the weather. Saturday June 24, we have the large picnic shelter reserved at Tommy Turtle Park for the day. If the weather ends up being bad, we also have it reserved for Sunday June 25. I will be providing sloppy joes, buns, chips, and some beverages (water, sparkling water, and soda). Feel free to come join for lunch at noon. If you wish to bring something to share, feel free to do so as well. If you'd prefer to manage lunch for your own family, that's just fine too. Otherwise, I will have some yard games setup for the afternoon. If you wish to bring your own games or equipment, as the park has a number of courts available, please do so as well. We can hopefully enjoy an afternoon in the park and hopefully the beautiful weather.

January 2023

Our 20 year reunion has been scheduled for the weekend of June 23-25 2023. Supper on June 23rd will be held in Bottineau, held at Marie's, or another location depending on attendance and capacity. A social meeting may be held before and/or after the meal as well for those interested, with further details to follow. Times and meal options will be provided once attendance is further determined and available, but we believe multiple protein options and a vegetarian option will be offered.

A picnic shelter has been reserved at Tommy Turtle Park in Bottineau for June 24th. A potluck style lunch is planned, with plans to try to coordinate items closer to June. If participation is low or for those not interested, we can encourage bringing yourself or your family lunch for the day. While the hope is that the weather cooperates, and families and friends can enjoy the park and games available, if the weather is poor, lunch can be offered as a minimum, or we can attempt to reschedule for June 25th instead.

Please make plan accordingly for this weekend and join us to celebrate our 20 year reunion. Please attempt to reply with your expectation to attend the meal on June 23rd, if anyone will be joining you (head count for your party, if any children will be included), and your interest in joining a potluck lunch on June 24th.

If we can receive enough responses by the end of April or sooner, we can update with further details. I know with the recent events the past few years, travel and plans has become more difficult. Please plan ahead and make alternative plans if necessary. If travel or other restrictions arise by June and the current plans cannot be followed through, a virtual event could provide a backup option.
